<p>US authorities are searching for a shooting suspect who was mistakenly released from jail.</p>
<p>The Pinal County Sheriff&#8217;s Office in Arizona said it never received the charging paperwork for 25-year-old Daniel Munoz Perez and he was released on a 320 US dollar bond after being charged on December 16 on a misdemeanour warrant.</p>
<p>Perez is accused of shooting at Arizona Department of Public Safety officers outside a home in Casa Grande.</p>
<p>Perez was injured by gunfire, admitted to a Phoenix hospital for treatment and held in another county&#8217;s jail before being turned over to the Pinal County.</p>
<p>But county authorities said they were not notified of the warrant on Perez until December 23 &#8211; a week after he was released from custody.</p>
<p>Public safety officials said that Perez remains at large.</p>
