<p>Notorious terrorist Carlos the Jackal is to face trial in Paris in November for his alleged role in four deadly bombings in the early 1980s in France.</p>
<p>Venezuelan Carlos, whose real name is Ilich Ramirez Sanchez, is accused of a role in four attacks that killed 11 people and injured at least 100. Three others will also stand trial.</p>
<p>The Paris public prosecutor&#8217;s office said the trial is scheduled from November 2 to December 16.</p>
<p>Ramirez is already serving a life sentence in France for the 1975 murders of two French secret agents and an alleged informer.</p>
<p>He gained notoriety as the Cold War-era mastermind of deadly bombings, killings and hostage dramas.</p>
