<p>James Nesbitt has revealed he is to undergo dwarf training for The Hobbit.</p>
<p>The Cold Feet star, who will play comical dwarf Bolfur in Peter Jackson&#8217;s Lord Of The Rings prequel, flies out to New Zealand in January to begin learning how to sword fight and ride a horse while wearing his giant hobbit feet.</p>
<p>James told The Sun: &#8220;We&#8217;re going for dwarf training for a month. It&#8217;s an adventure and I can&#8217;t wait for it. I&#8217;ve never done a massive film like it.&#8221;</p>
<p>The 45-year-old actor revealed he has already had his dwarf prosthetics fitted ahead of his training.</p>
<p>James will be travelling to the other side of the world with his wife Sonia and their two daughters.</p>
<p>He said: &#8220;It&#8217;s a once in a lifetime thing. Not just for me but for the family.&#8221;</p>
