<p>Jason Bateman has claimed he doesn&#8217;t see himself as a leading man.</p>
<p>The actor plays a federal agent tracking an escaped alien in Simon Pegg and Nick Frost&#8217;s new comedy Paul, and is set to star alongside Jennifer Aniston, Jamie Foxx, Jason Sudeikis and Colin Farrell in Horrible Bosses.</p>
<p>He feels he is suited to ensemble comedies, saying of Horrible Bosses: &#8220;It was great, I mean anytime you can work with a great team it&#8217;s nice.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;Plus I don&#8217;t really do anything that is specific that people are going to come out saying &#8216;I want to go see that Jason Bateman vehicle&#8217;, so I have to look to get gobbled up in a talented group of people and be a part of a team. That&#8217;s nice for me.&#8221;</p>
<p>Jason rose to fame in sitcom Arrested Development, about a formerly wealthy, habitually dysfunctional family, for which he has won several awards, including a Golden Globe.</p>
<p>Creator Mitchell Hurwitz is about to begin work on a spin-off movie of the hit show which also starred Portia de Rossi and Michael Cera.</p>
<p>Jason said: &#8220;Well apparently Mitch Hurwitz made it official a few days ago that he&#8217;s almost finished with the script and hopes to shoot it this year, so I&#8217;m really excited about that news.&#8221;</p>
