<p>Josh Brolin will produce, direct and star in the big screen adaptation of Pitz And Joe.</p>
<p>It will be the second time the Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps actor gets behind the camera, following his directorial debut with short film X.</p>
<p>Maya Forbes, whose credits include Monsters Vs Aliens and The Rocker, will pen the script of the family drama, Variety reports.</p>
<p>Pitz And Joe, inspired by the Dominique Cieri play of the same name, follows the misfortunes of a young man suffering from brain damage and his sister, who tries to coax him into believing that life is worth living.</p>
<p>Dominique wrote the play in 1979 after her older brother broke his neck in an accident.</p>
<p>Next up for Josh, who is currently shooting Men In Black 3, is the Coen brothers&#8217; remake of True Grit alongside Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon.</p>
