<p>Justin Timberlake has denied claims he&#8217;s bringing out a new song called Take You Down.</p>
<p>The track, which allegedly featured the SexyBack singer&#8217;s vocals over a Neptunes beat, quickly led to false speculation that Justin was working on new material after it was leaked online.</p>
<p>But his spokesperson issued a statement to Entertainment Weekly, saying: &#8220;Various media outlets recently reported that a song called Take You Down is a new track from Justin Timberlake &#8211; these reports are untrue.</p>
<p>&#8220;The song is the work of a Danish artist named Rasmus Thude. Justin&#8217;s representatives were not initially contacted to fact check the validity of these reports or if the song was, in fact, his.&#8221; </p>
<p>The representative added: &#8220;Justin has no involvement with either the song or the artist but wants to assure his fans that when he releases new music, they will be the first to know.&#8221;</p>
<p>Justin has been focusing on his Hollywood career with roles in David Fincher&#8217;s The Social Network, and forthcoming titles Yogi Bear and Bad Teacher, with his last album FutureSex/LoveSounds released in 2006.</p>
