<p>Ashton Kutcher has ruled himself out of appearing in the upcoming third instalment of Ghostbusters &#8211; because he won&#8217;t look good in 3D.</p>
<p>The comic actor appears in No Strings Attached, directed by Ghostbusters director Ivan Reitman, and while suggesting he would like a part, hinted it would be shown in 3D.</p>
<p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t do 3D well, it&#8217;s a weird thing &#8211; I have a pretty predominant brow and people think, &#8216;Oh Jesus, his head&#8217;s coming right at me&#8217;,&#8221; he said. </p>
<p>Ivan, who has confirmed he will be directing the eagerly anticipated follow-up, added: &#8220;I haven&#8217;t even said it&#8217;s in 3D, but that&#8217;s a good idea. We have talked about it,&#8221; before Ashton chipped in: &#8220;Actually, that is about the only conversation we&#8217;ve had about it.&#8221;</p>
<p>There have a slew of rumours about Ghostbusters 3, but Ivan is keeping his cards close to his chest.</p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a very good script and a number of the original actors have read it &#8211; one in particular has not so we are all waiting for him to read it. And then we will see what will happen,&#8221; he revealed, without naming which actor hasn&#8217;t read it.</p>
<p>It has been reported Bill Murray is the one holding up the film. He told US &#8216;shock jock&#8217; Howard Stern: &#8220;Before I was an asset but now I&#8217;m a problem. There&#8217;s a script somewhere but I haven&#8217;t read it yet.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;Ivan wants to make it and I owe him.&#8221;</p>
<p>:: No Strings Attached is in cinemas on February 25.</p>
