<p>Ashton Kutcher has revealed that he created his on-screen chemistry with Natalie Portman by arguing.</p>
<p>The duo star together in Ivan Reitman&#8217;s rom-com No Strings Attached and their rapport positively sparks.</p>
<p>&#8220;You know, I always feel like in order to create on-screen chemistry, you have to argue with someone well and Natalie and I both really pride ourselves on being right and so I think it just came naturally,&#8221; he said. </p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s easy when you like the person and Natalie is very likeable. Natalie could have chemistry with a carpet if she wanted to. I don&#8217;t know if chemistry is something you can manufacture.&#8221;</p>
<p>But he refused to divulge what the pair argued about.</p>
<p>&#8220;Well it&#8217;s a brilliant screenplay and these two characters are pivoted. That character position sets up the perfect argument. This film is trying to intellectualise love,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Ashton is full of respect for his co-star, saying: &#8220;I believe she&#8217;s one of the best actresses of my generation. It&#8217;s a challenge to be as honest as she is.&#8221;</p>
