<p>Ian McShane has admitted he finds his role of Blackbeard in the new Pirates Of The Caribbean movie &#8220;complicated&#8221; &#8211; as getting into costume takes so long.</p>
<p>The 68-year-old British actor is playing a villain in the fourth instalment of the swashbuckling adventures, Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.</p>
<p>Ian revealed: &#8220;I&#8217;m doing Blackbeard now, who&#8217;s a complicated character, with a complicated beard, which takes two and a half hours to make up, getting into complicated clothing.&#8221;</p>
<p>He went on: &#8220;It feels like we&#8217;ve been filming it for three years &#8211; we were in Hawaii for two months, LA for a month and now in London for two months.&#8221;</p>
<p>But the Lovejoy star is pleased to be playing the bad guy as he prefers complicated characters.</p>
<p>He said: &#8220;The devil gets the best tunes usually, so over the past few years it&#8217;s been terrific.&#8221;</p>
