<p>Five Nato troops have been killed in three attacks in Afghanistan on Wednesday.</p>
<p>None of the five are believed to be British.</p>
<p>Four of them were killed in the east of the country &#8211; three in a roadside bombing and one in another attack. Another was killed in a roadside bombing in the south.</p>
<p>The deaths bring to 16 the number of international troops killed in Afghanistan so far this year.</p>
<p>Last year was the deadliest of war for international forces, with more than 700 killed, compared to just over 500 in 2009.</p>
<p>The deaths came on a day when the Taliban killed six people in two other bombings which targeted the Afghan intelligence services.</p>
