<p>Vince Vaughn has become a dad.</p>
<p>Christmas has come early for the actor, after his wife Kyla Weber gave birth to baby girl Locklyn Kyla on December 18.</p>
<p>Locklyn, who weighed in at 7lbs, was born at a hospital in Vince&#8217;s hometown of Chicago, and a spokesperson for the star confirmed the good news to People.com.</p>
<p>&#8220;Both of them couldn&#8217;t be happier to welcome their sweet little girl into their family!&#8221; a friend of the couple told the magazine.</p>
<p>It is the first taste of parenthood for the 40-year-old and Kyla, a Canadian estate agent who he married in January 2010.</p>
<p>Vince&#8217;s next big-screen appearance is in The Dilemma alongside Kevin James and Jennifer Connelly, which opens in cinemas on January 21, 2011.</p>
