		</div><p><strong>The First Blizzard Warning Since 2017 Has Just Been Issued for NYC by the Mayor as severe blizzard warnings looms. Millions of people in New York City and across the north-east coast were stuck at home under road travel bans and blizzard warnings on Monday as heavy snow severe winter storm hits the region.</p>
<p>Mayor Mamdani urged New Yorkers to step up and become emergency snow shovelers by showing up at sanitation garages with paperwork ready to assist in clearing up the snow.</p>
<p>Over 3,000 flights canceled at NYC airports as historic blizzard threatens to bury region in 2-feet of snow. Many events have been cancelled in New York City including Broadway evening performances this week as New York City is set to experience a blizzard and receive between 16 and 24 inches of snow.</strong></p>
