<p>One person has died in a fire that ripped through a six-story New York apartment building, US officials have said.</p>
<p>A fire department spokesman said the body of a 64-year-old woman was found in the rubble after firefighters battled strong winds for several hours trying to extinguish the blaze. The victim&#8217;s name was not released.</p>
<p>Officials say 20 firefighters were injured battling Saturday&#8217;s blaze in Brooklyn. None of the injuries were life-threatening. Four civilians suffered minor injuries. Seven people were treated at the scene.</p>
<p>Strong winds complicated firefighters&#8217; efforts at the building on East 29th Street before the fire was brought under control early on Sunday.</p>
<p>More than 200 firefighters were called to the scene.</p>
<p>The building has 70 apartments. The spokesman said a shelter for displaced residents had been set up at a nearby school.</p>
