<p>Nowadays, Ian McKellen is well known as a LGBTQ+ activist. He’s often seen campaigning for gay rights and visibility, and even co-wrote a book called <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/Queers-History-Comprehensive-Encyclopedia-Historical/dp/1933771879" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Queers in History</a>.</p>
