<p>Natalie Portman will not be naming her baby Oscar despite winning the Best Actress gong for her role in Black Swan.</p>
<p>&#8220;I think that&#8217;s probably, definitely out of the question,&#8221; the pregnant star told the press following the ceremony.</p>
<p>She also paid tribute to her unborn baby for helping her keep some perspective during awards season.</p>
<p>&#8220;Having a baby feels like it has been a protection against all the hoopla and everything which is more superficial,&#8221; she said.</p>
<p>Melissa Leo apologised for using the f-word in her acceptance speech as she picked up the Best Supporting Actress Oscar. The star, who won the gong for her performance in The Fighter, let the word slip out as she took to the stage, beating competitors including Helena Bonham Carter, Hailee Steinfeld and Amy Adams. </p>
<p>&#8220;I apologise for anyone who was offended by those words,&#8221; she said during a press conference following her win.</p>
<p>&#8220;There are many words in the English language in my vernacular. I apologise.&#8221;</p>
<p>Christian Bale said his daughter Emmeline will probably get his Oscar when he gets home. &#8220;I&#8217;ll get home to my daughter and she&#8217;ll say &#8216;thank you very much, I&#8217;ll have that&#8217;,&#8221; he said after he won the Best Supporting Actor gong for The Fighter.</p>
<p>The British actor had earlier choked up on stage while thanking his family for their support. &#8220;I didn&#8217;t think I would be like this,&#8221; he said during his speech.</p>
<p>Bale, who was once infamously recorded making an expletive-filled rant while on set of Terminator: Salvation, also made a joke following his co-star Melissa Leo&#8217;s acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actress. &#8220;I&#8217;m not going to drop the f-bombs like Melissa Leo,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I&#8217;ve done enough of that before.&#8221;</p>
