<p>A man believed to be 18 years old has been stabbed to death, police said.</p>
<p>He is thought to have been assaulted at around midnight near East Dulwich station in south London, Scotland Yard said.</p>
<p>He was taken to hospital but pronounced dead later, a spokesman said.</p>
<p>A Scotland Yard spokesman said: &#8220;Police were called at approximately 00.10, following reports of an assault close to East Dulwich British Rail station.</p>
<p>&#8220;Our officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.</p>
<p>&#8220;A man believed to be 18 years old was discovered with stab wounds. He was taken to a south London hospital but pronounced dead at o2.15.</p>
<p>&#8220;Next of kin have yet to be informed.</p>
<p>&#8220;We await formal identification and detectives from the homicide and serious crime command are investigating.&#8221;</p>
