<p>Rihanna has revealed she wants to have children, but she doesn&#8217;t like the idea of raising them on her own.</p>
<p>The 22-year-old star &#8211; who is dating Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp &#8211; told Interview magazine she wants to get married and have a family, but doesn&#8217;t want to be a single mother.</p>
<p>Rihanna said: &#8220;I definitely think a child deserves both parents. It would be selfish of me, because of my pride and independence to say, &#8216;Oh, I just want a sperm donor, because I can do it myself.&#8217; I can do it myself, but that&#8217;s not fair.</p>
<p> &#8220;I&#8217;m just saying that whatever comes my way I&#8217;ll be able to handle it, but in a perfect book, there would be marriage and kids.&#8221;</p>
<p>But the Umbrella singer, who has just released her fifth album, is in no hurry to settle down.</p>
<p>She said: &#8220;I have a lot of other stuff to accomplish before I get to kids so&#8230; whenever the time is right, I&#8217;ll just know. I don&#8217;t really plan on the age. It could be a year from now. It could be 10 years from now. Whenever is right.</p>
<p>&#8220;I know God will probably want me to have a daughter just so I could see what I put my mother through. But on the other hand, I really love little boys. So it would just be fly either way.&#8221;</p>
