<p>Martin Sheen and his son Emilio Estevez are sharing their stories in the same book.</p>
<p>The actors are working on a joint memoir, titled Along The Way, to come out in the US on Father&#8217;s Day next year.</p>
<p>Publishers Free Press said the book would explore &#8220;the inner and outer stages of the journey of a father and son,&#8221; including the upcoming movie The Way, in which The Breakfast Club star Emilio directs his father.</p>
<p>The film sees The West Wing star Martin play a Californian man who completes a European pilgrimage started by his late son &#8211; played by Emilio. During his travels, he encounters a series of international characters on the road, including an Irish author played by James Nesbitt.</p>
