<p>Charlie Sheen has laughed off the rumours that he had died over the Christmas weekend.</p>
<p>The Two And A Half Men star was claimed to have died in a snowboarding accident following internet rumours, but is alive and well and able to see the funny side.</p>
<p>Charlie told The Insider: &#8220;When I heard on the news that I had died the other day, I quickly ran to my PC and checked the ratings for my show.</p>
<p>&#8220;Hmmm &#8230; that&#8217;s odd, all the numbers appeared solid. Perhaps even up a bit. </p>
<p>&#8220;You can only imagine my relief when I discovered shortly afterwards that they were referring to my actual literal death. That I can survive. I then quickly called my Mom.&#8221; </p>
<p>Charlie&#8217;s ex-wife Denise Richards took to Twitter earlier this week to deny the rumours of his death.</p>
<p>The actor is one of several stars who were falsely rumoured to be dead in internet reports over the holidays.</p>
<p>Others included Owen Wilson, Eddie Murphy, Aretha Franklin, Adam Sandler and former child star Aaron Carter, who were all confirmed to be alive.</p>
