<p>Sarah Jessica Parker is set to join New Year&#8217;s Eve, the follow-up to Valentine&#8217;s Day.</p>
<p>Halle Berry, who has received a Golden Globe nomination for her turn in Frankie And Alice, and Zac Efron are also in talks to join the all-star ensemble drama, which already includes Robert De Niro, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Jessica Biel, Lea Michele and Abigail Breslin, said The Hollywood Reporter.</p>
<p>Like its predecessor, New Year&#8217;s Eve, which is directed by Garry Marshall, tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers and their bittersweet drama and romance over the course of the big day.</p>
<p>Sex And The City star Sarah Jessica is tipped to play Abigail&#8217;s mum, who is too dependent on her daughter for company.</p>
<p>Halle would portray a caterer who runs into an ex-flame, while Zac is expected to play a courier who tries to fulfil Michelle&#8217;s New Year&#8217;s Eve resolutions in exchange for tickets to a big party.</p>
<p>The movie was initially given a shoot date of mid-December but is now expected to begin in February in New York.</p>
