<p>Jon Bon Jovi is reportedly flexing his acting muscle by joining the star-studded cast of New Year&#8217;s Eve.</p>
<p>Seth Meyers and German actor Til Schweiger are also set to join Garry Marshall&#8217;s ensemble drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.</p>
<p>The Bon Jovi rocker, who previously appeared in National Lampoon&#8217;s Pucked in 2006, would play a successful rock star who accidentally bumps into his ex, played by Halle Berry, at a party. </p>
<p>US comedian Seth would be a broke dad who is eager for his wife (Jessica Biel) to deliver the first baby of the year to win 25,000 US dollars and soon finds himself in a heated competition.</p>
<p>New Year&#8217;s Eve, considered a follow-up from last year&#8217;s Valentine&#8217;s Day, tells intertwining stories of a group of New Yorkers as they experience bittersweet drama and poignant romance over the course of the day.</p>
<p>Robert De Niro, Zac Efron, Sarah Jessica Parker, Michelle Pfeiffer, Hilary Swank, Ashton Kutcher, Lea Michele and Sofia Vergara are also in the cast.</p>
<p>It is scheduled for release this Christmas.</p>
