<p>Jason Statham has said he is well up for appearing in The Expendables sequel.</p>
<p>The action man would gladly reprise his role as Lee Christmas alongside Sylvester Stallone in a second instalment &#8211; but refused to spill the beans about whether a sequel is confirmed.</p>
<p>&#8220;I have heard about a sequel and I&#8217;d be the first to say yes to a phone call from Sly,&#8221; he told Collider. </p>
<p>&#8220;I mean, we spoke about it as soon as the movie started to do really well and he says, you know, it would be great to do this again, and if there&#8217;s anyone who can do a good sequel it&#8217;s Sly Stallone! He&#8217;s done a fair amount.&#8221; </p>
<p>He added: &#8220;Yeah, we had a good time. It&#8217;s something I&#8217;d like to repeat.&#8221;</p>
<p>Sylvester, who starred, directed and wrote the blockbuster, is keen for a follow-up and already has an idea in his head.</p>
<p>Bruce Willis, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren are tipped to be back for the second film, with Jean-Claude Van Damme, Chuck Norris and Charlie Sheen rumoured to make appearances.</p>
