<p>Heavy snowfalls have closed Paris&#8217; Charles de Gaulle airport and shut down the city&#8217;s bus system.</p>
<p>Flights in and out of the airport have been suspended for a number of hours.</p>
<p>Snow quickly turned into a slushy mess in Paris&#8217; streets, halting traffic. </p>
<p>The RATP transport network said all buses in the capital had stopped running, along with many suburban buses.</p>
