<p>Veteran director Paul Bogaev has been hired to work with U2&#8217;s Bono and The Edge on the sound and arrangements for trouble-plagued Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark.</p>
<p>Show spokesman Rick Miramontez said Bogaev will be working with the U2 members on the music for the 65 million US dollar show.</p>
<p>Bogaev was musical director on Andrew Lloyd Webber&#8217;s Starlight Express and Sunset Boulevard.</p>
<p>Spider-Man is set to open on March 15.</p>
<p>It has been delayed several times, had a main actress quit and suffered numerous accidents that have left several actors in hospital.</p>
<p>Bogaev won a Tony nomination in 2004 for his work on Bombay Dreams.</p>
<p>He has a history of working with rock musicians who are crafting musicals, including Tarzan with Phil Collins and Aida with Elton John.</p>
