		</div><p>It seems pretty likely at this stage that there will be another Indiana Jones movie. Star Harrison Ford has proven he&#8217;s still up for a blockbuster with his turn in Star Wars The Force Awakens and original director of all four films Steven Spielberg has been chatting about the possibility a lot recently.</p>
<p>The filmmaker was being interviewed by Screen Daily when the subject came up again, and Spielberg was very clear on his intentions for the character, particular in relation to Ford:<br />
&#8220;I don’t think anyone could replace Harrison as Indy. I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. It’s certainly not my intention to ever have another actor step into his shoes in the way there have been many actors that have played Spider-Man or Batman. There is only going to be one actor playing Indiana Jones, and that’s Harrison Ford.&#8221;</p>
<p>That&#8217;s a nice thing to hear in some ways &#8211; this character will live and die with the actor who played him first and even if the series did continue it would have to follow someone else. There&#8217;s no harm in that, and people would be far more likely to turn out for an Indy movie if Ford was back in the battered hat.</p>
<p>Ford has also expressed interest recently and the pair should certainly get together before they&#8217;re too old to participate in something as action-oriented as an Indiana Jones film &#8211; Ford is 73 and Spielberg is 68.</p>
<p>Before that happens, we will get to see Harrison Ford play Han Solo again in Star Wars The Force Awakens- in cinemas December 17th 2015.</p>
