<p>Dame Elizabeth Taylor&#8217;s spokeswoman has said the two-time Oscar winner will spend her birthday watching the Academy Awards in a Los Angeles hospital room, where she is recovering from treatment for congestive heart failure.</p>
<p>Sally Morrison said Liz will be rooting for The King&#8217;s Speech to win Hollywood&#8217;s highest honour as she marked her 79th birthday.</p>
<p>Morrison said a proper birthday celebration is planned for when the screen legend returns home.</p>
<p>The actress has been in hospital at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre since early this month. She disclosed her heart condition in November 2004.</p>
<p>Liz won Oscars for Butterfield 8 in 1960 and Who&#8217;s Afraid of Virginia Woolf in 1966.</p>
