<p>Danny Trejo has confirmed he will be joining Ricky Gervais in the new Muppets movie.</p>
<p>The film, co-written by Jason Segel, has been assembling a star-studded cast which includes the Machete star and Ricky alongside Amy Adams, Jack Black and Emily Blunt.</p>
<p>&#8220;I am in The Muppets, isn&#8217;t that cool?&#8221; the Mexican-American actor revealed in Hollywood.</p>
<p>Speaking as he promoted his new film Death Race 2, Danny confirmed he&#8217;s signed on for a cameo in the film, which is also said to have a role for Lady Gaga.</p>
<p>&#8220;I want to play one of the Grumpy Old Men!&#8221; he laughed.</p>
<p>&#8220;I want be like &#8216;Shut up!&#8217; &#8211; one of those guys sat up in the balcony,&#8221; he joked.</p>
<p>The 66-year-old said he hasn&#8217;t been told what the story will involve but that he&#8217;s always been a fan.</p>
<p>&#8220;I thought they were amazing, man,&#8221; he insisted.</p>
<p>The actor currently stars alongside British actors Luke Goss and Sean Bean in Death Race 2.</p>
