<p>Uma Thurman&#8217;s stalker has asked a judge to reduce new charges that he flouted a court order by trying to contact the actress again.</p>
<p>Jack Jordan&#8217;s lawyers said he shouldn&#8217;t be facing felony criminal contempt charges because he&#8217;s not accused of threatening the Pulp Fiction star &#8211; just of trying to talk to her and bemoaning her relationship with a Swiss financier.</p>
<p>A judge has yet to decide on the matter and in the meantime the former psychiatric patient &#8211; who has pleaded not guilty to charges including stalking &#8211; remains jailed on a 250,000 dollar cash bail or 500,000 dollar bond.</p>
<p>The 39-year-old was convicted in 2008 of stalking and harassing the Kill Bill star. He was sentenced to three years&#8217; probation and told not to try to contact Uma for five years.</p>
<p>But authorities said he called her office and her assistant&#8217;s phone in October, asking to speak to the actress and adding that boyfriend Arpad Busson &#8220;does not belong with&#8221; her, according to court papers.</p>
<p>Jordan was arrested in November at his family&#8217;s home, where police said they found him sitting in front of a computer with Uma&#8217;s name in a Google search box.</p>
<p>He told police the calls were a drunken mistake, prosecutors said.</p>
