		</div><p>The US presidential candidates have started campaigning in New Hampshire after voters in Iowa served up some major surprises.</p>
<p>Hillary Clinton was trying to turn her narrow victory in Iowa into a bit of momentum for her battered Democratic campaign, after a stronger than expected showing by her rival Bernie Sanders.</p>
<p>On the Republican side, businessman Donald Trump was looking to rebound after a second-place finish in Iowa that marked a humbling blow to the boastful real estate mogul</p>
<p>Texas senator Ted Cruz sought to lock in his spot at the top of the Republican field, while Florida senator Marco Rubio also did well in Iowa.</p>
<p>The contenders arrived in New Hampshire and quickly scattered for a blitz of campaign rallies and television interviews ahead of the primary next Tuesday, the second in the state-by-state nominating contests to decide who will be each party’s candidate for president in November.</p>
<p>Mrs Clinton celebrated her narrow win in Iowa and said she expected a tough fight in New Hampshire, noting she will be campaigning in the “backyard” of Mr Sanders, a Vermont senator.</p>
<p>Mr Sanders told supporters the results proved he was a viable candidate, and he said: “We’re in this for the long haul.”</p>
