<p>Mark Wahlberg has confessed he binged on cookies once his tough training was over for new movie The Fighter.</p>
<p>The Departed star plays boxing champion Micky Ward in the Golden Globe-nominated film, which is released in UK cinemas next year, and underwent a lengthy and strict regime to get in shape for the role. So after it was all over he admits he over-indulged on &#8220;everything&#8221;.</p>
<p>At the film&#8217;s premiere in New York, Mark told People: &#8220;I just became obsessed with chocolate chip cookies and stuff that I never really had any interest in eating [before].&#8221;</p>
<p>But the 39-year-old actor&#8217;s wife Rhea Durham was apparently disappointed he stopped training.</p>
<p>Mark revealed: &#8220;She said, &#8216;You might as well take care of yourself.&#8217; But I needed a break from it. Certainly four and a half years was very draining. I needed that time off, and now I need to get back in there.&#8221;</p>
