<p>Russell Crowe has joked that his co-star Elizabeth Banks looked good behind bars in their new movie The Next Three Days.</p>
<p>&#8220;It was a lot of fun seeing her in prison garb and how naturally she suited those jail clothes,&#8221; teased the actor, who plays Elizabeth&#8217;s other half in the new thriller.</p>
<p>The movie sees Russell&#8217;s character attempt to rescue his wife from prison after she is convicted of murder.</p>
<p>&#8220;She has a very robust sense of humour and I think that&#8217;s required playing a character like this,&#8221; Russell explained.</p>
<p>&#8220;I was very lucky on this movie as I got to work with a lot of great actors, every week we had someone very cool come in that I got to do some scenes with,&#8221; he said.</p>
<p>Liam Neeson makes a cameo in the film playing a hardened criminal and jail breaker.</p>
<p>&#8220;Doing a scene with Liam was fantastic, I&#8217;ve been a big fan of his for some time,&#8221; Russell said.</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;There was a gigantic amount of dialogue which was very difficult for him. I&#8217;ve just got to sit there and listen to him talk but I think it was about seven or eight pages he had to cram into his head, so it must have been very difficult for him coming to a film set for a day and memorising that level of dialogue. But it was a great experience.&#8221;</p>
