<p>Jesse Eisenberg has admitted he was nervous about coming face to face with Mark Zuckerberg.</p>
<p>The actor appeared on Saturday Night Live with Facebook founder, who he played in Oscar-nominated film The Social Network.</p>
<p>&#8220;I was nervous to meet him because I had spent a year and a half thinking about him,&#8221; the 27-year-old actor said at the Oscars Nominees Luncheon.</p>
<p>&#8220;During the movie, I was watching him every day and listing to him on my iPod on the way to work and doing everything he did.&#8221;</p>
<p>Jesse, who landed his first Best Actor Oscar nomination for his role, recently appeared alongside the Facebook CEO during the opening sequence of the American entertainment show.</p>
<p>&#8220;I had built up this great anticipation thinking about what it would be like to meet him and then we met under circumstances that were far more anxiety-producing which was to be on live television together,&#8221; said Jesse.</p>
<p>&#8220;In a strange way, it was probably best to meet under those even more strange circumstances.&#8221;</p>
<p>He also paid tribute to Mark&#8217;s bravery in appearing on the show, along with acknowledging a film which, at times, does not portray him in a positive light.</p>
<p>&#8220;The fact that Mark has been so gracious about something that I imagine must be very uncomfortable is really wonderful,&#8221; said the actor. </p>
<p>&#8220;The fact that he would even agree to do Saturday Night Live &#8211; to do something so silly and make fun of the situation, is so sweet and generous. It&#8217;s the best possible way to handle something that could otherwise be very uncomfortable.&#8221;</p>
