<p>Keira Knightley has reportedly split from her boyfriend of five years Rupert Friend.</p>
<p>The 25-year-old Pirates Of The Caribbean star met the 29-year-old British actor when they appeared together in Pride And Prejudice in 2005, but the couple decided to call time on their relationship just before Christmas, The Sun reports.</p>
<p>Keira&#8217;s father Will Knightley is quoted by the newspaper as saying: &#8220;Yes, they have broken up. But that&#8217;s the way things go, unfortunately. The only option is to get on with things.&#8221;</p>
<p>He added: &#8220;They were together for quite a long time and it is always hard breaking up. She is focused on her work.&#8221;</p>
<p>Keira is about to appear on stage at London&#8217;s Comedy Theatre in Children&#8217;s Hour with Mad Men&#8217;s Elisabeth Moss, who plays Peggy Olson in the hit series.</p>
<p>The play, about two teachers at an all-girls boarding school who are accused by a wayward pupil of having a lesbian relationship, runs until April 30.</p>
<p>Rupert will next appear in Five Days Of August, a film about the Russia-Georgia conflict of 2008. He plays an American reporter in the movie, due out in March.</p>
