<p>Daniel O&#8217;Donnell has been invited for a pint at the Rovers Return &#8211; after telling Beverley Callard that his &#8220;greatest wish&#8221; is to appear on Coronation Street.</p>
<p>The Irish singing superstar said he would be willing to take any role just to be in the soap, which is about to celebrate its 50th anniversary.</p>
<p>Appearing on lunchtime chat show Loose Women alongside Beverley, who plays Rovers Return landlady Liz McDonald, he said: &#8220;I might as well say it out in public. It&#8217;s my greatest wish to walk on Coronation Street and the Rovers Return.</p>
<p>&#8220;I&#8217;d sweep the floor just to be on Corrie.&#8221;</p>
<p>Beverley clasped his hand and told the singer: &#8220;Listen, I&#8217;m gonna take you for a pint. When I go back there in a few weeks, I&#8217;ll take you.&#8221;</p>
