Michelle Pfeiffer is in talks to star alongside Johnny Depp in the Tim Burton film Dark Shadows, according to reports.

If she signs up for the movie, the 52-year-old will be working with the Alice In Wonderland director for the first time since she played Catwoman in 1992 flick Batman Returns, the Hollywood Reporter said.

The movie is Warner Bros’ big-screen take on the 1960s gothic vampire TV soap opera.

Johnny is set to play Barnabas Collins, a self-loathing vampire on the hunt for his lost love, while Michelle would play the reclusive Elizabeth Collins Stoddard.

The movie, set for release next year, also stars Jackie Earle Haley, Eva Green and Bella Heathcote.

Michelle is currently filming New Year’s Eve, currently starring Ashton Kutcher and Lea Michele, and Welcome To People alongside Olivia Wilde.
