<p>Reese Witherspoon doesn&#8217;t enjoy seeing herself in photos and on screen, describing it as &#8220;torture&#8221;.</p>
<p>Despite making four appearances in People&#8217;s 100 Most Beautiful issues, the mother-of-two told US talk show host Chelsea Handler on her show Chelsea Lately: &#8220;I literally think I look bad in every picture.&#8221;</p>
<p>The How Do You Know star added: &#8220;I don&#8217;t know, who feels good looking at themselves? Nobody, right? It&#8217;s torture. Why would you want to watch yourself being stupid and pretending to be somebody else?&#8221;</p>
<p>Reese, who used to date Jake Gyllenhaal and was married to her Cruel Intentions co-star Ryan Phillippe, has spoken of how she Googles herself when she&#8217;s feeling in the mood.</p>
<p>&#8220;Only in very, very dark moments &#8211; moments of pure self-loathing &#8211; do I type my name into Google,&#8221; she told Entertainment Weekly.</p>
<p>&#8220;I know what I&#8217;m in for. You never read anything positive&#8230; You&#8217;re fat, you&#8217;re ugly, you&#8217;re tired, you&#8217;re worthless, you don&#8217;t have a career any more, you&#8217;re a bad actor. It&#8217;s just an affirmation of every horrible feeling you have about yourself.</p>
<p>&#8220;Fortunately, most of the time I&#8217;m busy enough that I don&#8217;t have time to type my name into Google,&#8221; she added.</p>
