Vinnie Jones has been scaring catering staff on the set of The Cape.
Football’s former hardman turned Hollywood star has revealed he’s been having some fun dressed as Scales – a criminal menace with a freakish skin condition that looks like he’s covered with green and gold scales.
“The lady in the canteen c****ed herself the other day when I went in for some soup with it on!” Vinnie laughed, speaking at the Bafta Los Angeles annual tea party in Hollywood.
But the 46-year-old admitted he’s fed up with all the time he’s spending in the make-up chair as a series regular on the US superhero drama.
“It’s a nightmare,” Vinnie sighed.
“Monday, I’ve got to be in at 4.30am for make up for an 8 o’clock start, that’s the downside of it, but I knew what I was doing when I was going in.
“I think the kids love it so that’s the important part of it.”
The Lock Stock star says he’s just really happy to have a regular gig.
“They’re going really all-out with it now so it’s really nice to just have a regular series,” he said.
