A bus carrying Thai tourists has overturned on a winding road near a Malaysian highland resort, killing at least 26 people, an official said.
The tourists were returning from a weekend trip to the popular Cameron Highlands holiday destination in central Malaysia when their bus apparently spun out of control and crashed into a road divider on Monday morning, said a district fire department official.
Earlier, rescuers said they had recovered 14 bodies, including that of a Thai driver.
It was one of Malaysia’s worst road accidents in recent years.
