Aidan Gillen has been rumoured to be starring in a brand new BBC drama The Spy Who Came In From The Cold based off of John Le Carré’s novel of the same name.
The actor is most well known for his character on HBO’s Game of Thrones but has worked on another BBC show before called Mayday.
Another John Le Carré novel that was turned into a show for the station was Tom Hiddleston’s widely popular The Night Manager.
The show will be another thriller based show and will be set during the Cold War era.
Aidan is being considered for the lead role of Alec Leamas, an administrator who has been called back to London after the death of one of his operatives in West Berlin.
