<p>Jessica Alba is more than happy to return to Sin City 2.</p>
<p>The American actress is up for reprising her role as Nancy Callahan, the stripper with a heart of gold, for the sequel, which she reckons is not an if, but when.</p>
<p>&#8220;We (director Robert Rodriguez and I) both love doing it, and we&#8217;d like to do it again &#8211; it&#8217;s just kind of, you know, a matter of time I think,&#8221; she told The Playlist.</p>
<p>&#8220;We were just talking about that actually in Austin, so we&#8217;ll see. We kind of talk about Sin City every now and again, it comes up.&#8221;</p>
<p>Robert said last month that he is collaborating with Frank Miller, who co-directed and wrote the 2005 neo-noir crime thriller, which starred Bruce Willis, Clive Owen and Benicio Del Toro. </p>
<p>The sequel is reported to be based on the graphic novel follow-up, A Dame To Kill For, which Frank also wrote and drew.</p>
<p>&#8220;Frank Miller and I are working on it,&#8221; he said on a Facebook chat. </p>
<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s slated to be the next one, but if the script is not ready, then we&#8217;ll have to move to the next one.&#8221;</p>
<p>Talk of a sequel has been around since 2007, with reports that the script has been written and the film is ready to start shooting last year.</p>
<p>However, production was delayed with the death of Brittany Murphy (who played barmaid and Clive&#8217;s screen on-off girlfriend) and the filmmaker focusing on Machete and Spy Kids 4.</p>
