Amazon is to hire 2,500 permanent staff in the UK this year, boosting its workforce there to more than 14,000.
They will be employed across the country – including its London head office, and other sites in England, Scotland and Wales.
The online retailer is also planning to take on 10,000 new workers across Europe.
There are currently 40,000 people employed across Europe.
Amazon is said to be expanding its European operations.
