Arnold Schwarzenegger has had a high-flying career as Mr Universe, a Hollywood movie star and Governor of California.
Now he’ll be conquering UK TV with his first foray into presenting with a new Channel 4 show about the world’s most daring stunts.
Arnie’s 50 Greatest Stunts will be a two-hour special about the bravest feats of strength and endurance, including Felix Baumgarten’s skydive from space and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s epic splits between two moving Volvo lorries.
A Channel 4 spokesman said: “In addition to commentary from fans, comedians, stunt coordinators and daredevils, this celebration of skill and courage will take a behind-the-scenes look at how these jaw-dropping stunts came together with Arnie offering insight into what it takes to be a real life action hero.”
The presenting gig follows Arnie’s announcement as Donald Trump’s replacement on the US version of The Apprentice.
The muscleman is known for doing his own stunts in films from Conan to the Terminator franchise.
Arnie’s 50 Greatest Stunts was filmed in LA and will be shown later this year.
