'Avatar sequel to go underwater'

Actress Michelle Rodriguez has said “Avatar 2” will take viewers underwater and will be extraordinarily beautiful.

Rodriguez, who starred in the original, said she has no clue yet whether she will be asked to play a role in the sequel.

But she said she hopes creator James Cameron will at least invite her to the set to watch it being made.

Going underwater seems to be a running theme for Cameron, who helped produce the 3D underwater cave adventure Sanctum.

Rodriguez has been promoting her latest film Battle: Los Angeles about aliens attacking California.

Rodriguez, who plays an Air Force sergeant, said the film pays homage to troops.
