Reality TV star Alexis Neiers has been sentenced to a year in residential rehab after being convicted of burgling actor Orlando Bloom’s house.
A Los Angeles Superior Court judge told Neiers – who features in E! reality show Pretty Wild – it would be her last opportunity for treatment for what he called her long-term heroin addiction.
The 19-year-old was arrested at her home on December 1. In court she admitted to possessing the drug, and the judge warned her that she would have a life-long addiction and treatment was her best option.
Prosecutors had been seeking a two-year prison term for the star. They said Neiers had failed to report to probation officials or pay restitution to Bloom.
