Cat Deeley will bring a group of US royal wedding fanatics to London for a new show

Presenter Cat Deeley is set to bring a group of royal wedding fanatics from America to London for a new show.

The British presenter, who has made a name for herself in the US, has signed a deal to film the two-part Royally Mad programme, said a BBC America spokeswoman.

The show will see Deeley become a tour guide and treat four fans to a royal-themed journey around London.

Meanwhile, a TV film is to be made in honour of the forthcoming nuptials, it has been reported.

American television network Lifetime is understood to be in the preparation stages of creating a movie about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s courtship and romance.

According to E! Online, a relatively unknown actor, Nico Evers-Swindell, is to play the prince.

Evers-Swindell has appeared in Law and Order and NCIS Los Angeles. Prince Charles will be played by British Star Trek actor Ben Cross, the report says.

The role for the soon-to-be princess is yet to be cast.

It is thought the film, William and Kate, will be aired in the US a week before the real wedding on April 29.
