Vin Diesel is planning to produce The Ropes, an online show about the lives of bouncers.
The actor, along with One Race Films production partner Samantha Vincent, would take a behind-the-scenes role in the web series based on his experiences of working the door, reported Variety.
Vin – real name Mark Vincent – has already written the first episode and is expected to make an appearance, although no other actors are attached at the moment.
He is eyeing 18 seven-minute episodes, and is tipped to cast unknown actors and former bouncers for an authentic feel.
Producers have not yet set a start date or location for the production.
Vin’s next big-screen outing is in Fast Five, the fifth instalment in the Fast And Furious franchise, which will be released on April 29.
