President Emmanuel Macron of France has deployed over 70,000 police around major museums and important monuments across the country following the shocking catastrophic violent unrest that happened in the country last week.
He also placed a ban on “illegitimate” protests in France as he tries to take control of the unrest that has been damaging the good standing of France.
Disturbing scenes of burning cars, looting of high-end boutiques and stores in Paris has sent a message to investors and visitors that France is not a safe place and the government has lost control. The out of control protesters / vandals dressed in masks and balaclavas targeted thousands of businesses in Paris and several other city centres.
In anticipation of further protests on Saturday, major museums are closed and hoarded to prevent destructions and chaos that happened last week. The Louvre and other Paris museums will be closed on Saturday over concerns about potential violence during planned protests, France’s culture ministry said.
