Kathryn Thomas has opened up about online haters – insisting she would rather have her actual work critiqued than her fashion choices.
The Voice of Ireland presenter had to deal with a flurry of online commentary when her outfit choices came under fire during this series of the talent show.
“The criticism is vitriolic and it’s everywhere,” she said.
“People will criticise how you look, they will criticise your hair, they will criticise what you are wearing, they will criticise the job you do.
“[Actually] very rarely will they criticise the job you do. As a woman, it’s primarily about how you look,” she told the Sunday Independent’s Life magazine.
“I mean, I would [appreciate] if there was more criticism like, ‘I didn’t like the way you did that interview’ or ‘I thought you could have handled it a bit better’.
