Keener and Malkovich film reunion?

Catherine Keener and John Malkovich might be appearing on screen together for the first time since Being John Malkovich.

The actors have been cast as a married couple in Jesse Peretz’s new film What’s This S%^@ Called Love?, the LA Times movie blog 24 Frames reports.

The family drama is set in the 80s and is about an ultra-progressive family who want to celebrate their son’s homosexuality, while he wants to be left alone.

The premise of the coming of age movie has been compared to that of Noah Baumbach’s The Squid And The Whale, which stars Jesse Eisenberg.

Peretz didn’t disagree. “It’s kind of like that,” he said. “But maybe a little more positive.”
