Khloe Kardashian is reportedly still married to basketball player Lamar Odom and “making medical decisions” on his behalf as he remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Khloe filed for divorce in December 2013, but the pair only completed the relevant documents in July this year. The paperwork needs to be signed by a judge to become official, but a backlog at the court has delayed the process.
According to US Weekly, a representative for the Los Angeles Superior Court said that a judgment has yet to be entered into court, meaning the pair are legally still married.
TMZ are reporting that Khloe has already made “several” medical decisions on Lamar’s behalf since she arrived at the Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
Lamar was rushed to hospital after being found unconscious at the Love Ranch legal brothel in Crystal, Nevada.
According to 911 calls, the former Lakers player had been using cocaine and had taken up to 10 sexual performance-enhancing pills over three days.
Khloe and her sisters Kourtney and Kim, her mother Kris Jenner and half-sister Kendall Jenner are reportedly at Lamar’s bedside.
Kris, Kendall and brother Rob shared their thoughts and prayers for Lamar on social media.
Although Kendall didn’t mention Lamar by name, her post has been taken by many fans to be referring to him, while sister Kylie abruptly stopped a live-stream on her app when the news broke.
Rob accompanied his post with the caption: “Praying nonstop for my Brother!!”
Khloe married Lamar after a whirlwind one-month romance on September 27, 2009. They were married for four years but split in 2013.
Khloe reportedly delayed finalising the divorce after attempting to reconcile with him, but both signed the papers in July 2015.
